Financial Access and Esoko partner to enhance financial inclusion across several African countries
After having already worked together closely for a number of years Financial Access (FACS) and its fintech affiliate LendXS are pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Esoko. Esoko, based in Accra (Ghana), connects over 1 million farmers in Africa to essential services such as weather forecasts, agronomic advice, market linkages and insurance coverage over a range of channels including SMS, voice SMS and its own call center.
Over its 14-year history, Esoko has grown to include powerful data collection, digitization tools and biometric profiling as well as analytics, digital credit, insurance and payments into its services.
Esoko, Financial Access and LendXS will work together to integrate their digital solutions with the aim to increase the speed and cost-effectiveness for rural lenders to onboard smallholder clients and to improve their potential to reach scale. FACS and LendXS will contribute their in-depth expertise in financial capacity building, data analytics, agrifinance advisory and digital credit scoring methods to the partnership and will combine these with Esoko’s wide and powerful rural data collection and information services networks to achieve these goals.
